Brief Summary of Book: The Beast: A Monster Romance (Monsters and Beauties) by Jenika Snow I’ll admit that I’m not a super huge fan of romantic erotica, but I did enjoy Bronwyn Green’s Rewritten and Drawn That Way.

So, with that, I snub my nose at this one, turn on my heel, and walk away.ĭoes this book contribute to or help crush the romance stigma ? This is an honest review, not charity for authors. But because I was able to finish it, I offer this one a single star. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have finished this one had it been any longer than 58 pages. Wonder if Britta’s vagina can also cure cancer or make stupid people smarter? That’d make for an interesting science experiment, huh?

But how can a story have good character development and have 2 characters realistically fall in love in 58 pages? It. I failed to notice that when I downloaded, so that’s on me. Once again, here’s a story where I can’t help but feel like if the hero had been fat and ugly instead of a sexy billionaire, this would’ve been an episode of Criminal Minds instead of a steamy romance.īut sadly, double standards and a complete lack of plot weren’t all that I found wrong with this story: Here, let me sum it up for you and save you some time: rich, scarred, billionaire recluse hires hot young maid because he wants her, instalove and sex ensue after he creepily skulks around the house watching her, stalker style.
